Senior Data Engineer with 7+ years designing and shipping data platforms — ingestion, lakehouses, modeling, orchestration, activation. I've built things on AWS, GCP, and Azure, in Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, and Redshift — usually with PySpark and a lot of SQL.

Currently at Dow Jones in Barcelona. Previously led data engineering at ANBIMA, Cia. Hering, and helped build the global martech CDP at AB InBev. Started shipping 50+ KPI apps for smart manufacturing at Pirelli back in 2018.

When I'm not pushing parquet around, I'm probably exploring Barcelona, tinkering with side projects, or arguing about whether dbt is overrated (it isn't).

    ANBIMA · São Paulo, Brazil

    Architected the lakehouse on Databricks (PySpark + advanced SQL, Workflows for orchestration). Led the data engineering team and the Databricks/Dataiku architecture. Integrated funds platform, financial systems, Airtable, Cognito Forms, and the BACEN website. Shared data from Databricks to Power BI via Redshift to support financial market regulation across Brazilian banks.

    Data Tech Lead / Senior Data Engineer

    Led a 3-person data team. Built a GCP-based Delta Lake powering a CDP and MDM solution. Unified the entire data flow into bronze / silver / gold layers using Kubernetes (GKE), PySpark, and Airtable. Designed Kafka-based ingestion for real-time e-commerce data. Adopted Trino as the query engine to cut BigQuery costs.

    Built the Consumer Data Platform integrating AWS, GCP, Salesforce, Facebook Lead Ads, Mixpanel, and e-commerce sources. Pipelines with DigDag + advanced SQL, PII-aware activation flows to Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze and Facebook. Worked with marketing teams across 20+ countries.

    Shipped 50+ end-to-end KPI applications for Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality, displayed on factory kiosks, TVs, and tablets. Python + Pandas back-end on AWS S3 (JSON / Parquet), Flask & Angular front-ends, data pulled from PCS and SAP via SQLAlchemy.
